Can I keep my numbers?
Yes, your numbers will stay the same with Primrose Telecom.
Will my lines be affected during the transfer?
No, during the transfer process your service will continue to be provided by your current provider until the date of transfer. On the date of transfer your service will be seamlessly transferred with no disruption to you or your business.
Who will be providing my services?
Primrose Telecom will be providing your new service in conjunction with Townley Network Solutions. Following an extensive selection process Townley Network Solutions have been chosen to provide the service on behalf of Primrose Telecom.
What will change?
The only difference is from the transfer date you will start to receive your bills from Primrose Telecom and all support will be provided by Primrose. The Primrose line rental package is provided via the BT network. As the service is provided via BT you are not required to change your number. Furthermore the current service levels and response times will remain exactly the same as the support infrastructure will continue to be provided by BT Openreach
Please note: the first billing period after the transfer you will receive two bills – this is normal, one from your current provider for service up to the transfer date and one from Primrose Telecom from the transfer date at the new lower rates.
If you are with BT you will be probably receive your bills on a quarterly basis, with Primrose your bills will be provided on a more manageable monthly basis. Your first bill may include a higher line rental charge than you expect, this is due to the first bill being charged a part month (from date of transfer to the end of the month) and a full month in advance. Future bills will revert to the amount quoted.
How do I pay for the service?
In support of the Party’s green policy your bills will be sent by email and collected by Direct Debit. The name that will appear on your bank statement will be Townley Network Solutions.
